While on the season 14 finale ofReal Housewives of New JerseyLuis ranted to her about Margaret, 57, after Teresa had previously accused her of speaking to one of his exes and then allegedly spreading unflattering rumors.
'Tell her to stay away from our family. And you know what? I hope Margaret and her family suffer,' he shouted. 'You know, I hope her f***ing son suffers the way I suffered, the way other people in our family have suffered.'
While watching the finale on Sunday, the RHNY starlet, 52— who recently marked her second wedding anniversary— said, 'I don’t care. Listen, my kids suffered. My stepson suffered. My daughters suffered.
'He was upset,' she said defending her man. 'People make mistakes. I know he did not mean to say that.'

During his fit of anger, Ruelas also called Margaret a 'disgusting, vile human being' and a 'real piece of garbage.'
Ignoring the weight of Ruelas' comments Teresa subsequently promised: 'I’ll make sure he says sorry.'
Margaret, who was watching the clip from a separate room said, 'I had to make the sign of the cross. I'm horrified.'
Cameras then turned to their co-star Dolores Catania who remarked, 'No kids getting hurt is okay.'
When the episode aired, Ruelas took to his Instagram Story to make amends, saying:'The finale was very tough for me to watch and I wanted to address it with you all.'
'After watching the finale, I was disappointed in my actions in bringing up Margaret Josephs' son,' Ruelas continued.
He explained that he brought up his co-star's son because of a false accusation but pointed out that it was not justifiable to do so regardless.
'The reason he was even brought up was because I have been dealing with being falsely accused of calling Margaret's son at his work which is simply not true,' he stated.
'For the last year Margaret kept putting this narrative out there that I called her son at work and I have had to deal with it knowing I am being lied on,' he added.
